Rumour: Adr1ft Xbox One Release Cancelled
According to Adr1ft creator Adam Orth the Xbox One version of the first-person space game is "not releasing on Xbox One" and says to cancel pre-orders.
Publisher 505 Games has made no such official statement concerning a cancellation for Adr1ft on Microsoft's platform, only that they were still working to get it to additional SKUs back in July of this year. It seems circumstances have changed if Adam Orth is correct and why wouldn't he be?
Adr1ft supports virtual reality on PC and PlayStation 4. It's built using the Unreal Engine 4 and is set aboard a space station that gets destroyed. We play as a surviving astronaut with no memory of the incident but can piece together the events as well as build something to get down to Earth 'safely'.
Adr1ft released digitally on PC March 28th and on PlayStation 4 July 15th, 2016.
