While the window for a Western release is still a wide-open 2016, Japan has confirmation that the Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem crossover will launch this December, according to Nintendo.

The 'first print' of the game, known as Genei Ibun Roku #FE in Japan, will feature free DLC costumes inspired by previous titles published or developed by Atlus such as the Samurai Uniform from Shin Megami Tensei IV, the protagonist's attire from Devil Survivor 2, and Rei's outfit from Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth.

There will also be a special edition on the way entitled 'Fortissimo' edition which will come with a copy of the original soundtrack, an art book, a nice box to keep it all in, and even more DLC costumes. If you're in Japan, or own a Japanese Wii U console, Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem will be available on December 26.
