Tonight We Riot Announced
The people yearn for freedom! Tonight We Riot is a 2D side-scrolling fight for revolution as a horde of workers grow to take on the corrupt and oppressive state.
The government has been taken over by corporate powers and the heavily exploited working class have had enough. Banding together they fight, brawl, and firebomb their way to convincing more of their fellow downtrodden to join them and rise up. The government soon responds and wants to put down the rabble. All of this is going on as synth music pumps in the background, and actor Elias Toufexis (Deus Ex's Adam Jensen) narrates the reveal trailer.
"As a key instigator behind the noble uprising, players direct a growing horde as you fight, smash and brawl your way through the Streets of Change using whatever you can as a weapon. Namely bricks, molotov cocktails and whatever else you can get your hands on. Obtain the trust and loyalty of your fellow workers and liberate them from tyranny. Once you gain the power of the many, cooperate to retaliate against the city’s authoritarian regime and regain control over your life and liberty. Tonight We Riot! "
It also features both local co-op through split screen and online. It's an indie title from Pixel Pushers Union 512.
Tonight We Riot releases on PC and Mac in 2017.
