Bethesda Game Studios - developer of The Elder Scrolls and Fallout - are ready to expand their "development capabilities in console, PC, and mobile gaming" with a new studio in Montreal, Quebec.

This new studio's core team is already 40-strong from all sectors of the industry under the watch of manager Yves Lachance, previously of Fallout Shelter developer Behaviour Interactive. The studio has a handful of openings including Engine Programmer and VFX Artists, which you can check out here.

Game Director Todd Howard spoke about the new studio, stating "We’ve worked with some very talented developers in Montreal for a long time, and decided it was time to open a studio there. It’s exciting to think about the new games we’ll be building together."

We've had no word on what Bethesda Montreal will be building, apart from hints within the job listings pointing towards a co-developed RPG.
