Ben Affleck to Bring FIFA Scandal to the Big Screen with House of Deceit

While FIFA attempt to bring the beauty back to the 'Beautiful Game' after its deep rooted corruption scandal was exposed shortly after its presidential elections, Hollywood had been delving into that nest of vipers and may have just netted the winner with House of Deceit.

Given how brazen some of the bribery took place was, the unsubtle title taken from the book of the same name by Ken Bensinger, fits perfectly.

The film, which focuses on American FIFA executive turned government informant Chuck Blazer and his role in exposing the scandal, will be directed by Gavin O' Conner and produced by Ben Affleck - the pair have also just finished shooting another project together, The Accountant.

There had been something of a bidding war for the book rights, and Anthony Tambakis has already been signed up to write a screenplay which will no doubt not be endorsed by FIFA - given how well the last movie endorsed by FIFA went down, that's no big lose.
