Two Earth Defense Force Titles Coming to Europe This Year
Two Earth Defense Force Games will be heading to European shores later this year as confirmed by PQube. One for PlayStation 4 and one for PlayStation Vita; 'Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair' and 'Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders from Planet Space' respectively.
The former is the first current-gen offering of the series taking the form of an upgrade to Earth Defense Force 2025. Features-wise, you'll be getting almost 100 levels set in fully destructible environments. Helicopters, jet-packs, and giant robots are all included, as well as local or online co-op play.
As for Vita owners, Earth Defence Force 2: Invaders from Planet Space is a remaster of Global Defense Force 2 from the PlayStation 2. The updated version will feature open maps, a handful of vehicles, and local or online multiplayer.
