The rumour mill has been spinning on the story of an entry-level free-to-play version of Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 for a couple of days but now Konami has officially announced the product will be coming to PlayStation consoles this December.

This F2P version will include Exhibition Mode with seven teams to choose from including Brazil and France, as well as Training Mode and PES MyClub access. Konami has described this venture as an "overview of the game's stunning level of control" and will "be compatible with all future gameplay and content updates throughout the entire PES 16 season."

It has only been confirmed for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, and will be available from December 8th.
