Capcom's plans to begin sprucing up their classic titles is taking a step forward with the announcement of 'Resident Evil Zero Remastered' coming to most major consoles early next year.

The game originally came out in 2002 on the Nintendo GameCube and was received fairly warmly but criticism laid in the puzzle-solving elements and the partner system. Nevertheless, Capcom has half a year left to iron out any wrinkles whilst giving the game the same makeover 'Resident Evil Remastered' received earlier this year.

Resident Evil Zero focused on S.T.A.R.S Brave member Rebecca Chambers as she teams up with a convicted ex-soldier named Billy Coen in this prequel to the original Resident Evil; you'll be able to catch the game in the early months of 2016 according to reports on Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC systems.
