Sylvester Stallone Is to Escape Once Again in Escape Plan 3
Walking away from The Expendables hasn’t given Sylvester Stallone a taste for exiting franchises as it looks like he’s about to escape for a third time in Escape Plan 3.
The first, which starred Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger, grossed $137 million WW in 2013, and the third film has been set just as Escape Plan 2 wraps this week. Stallone came back for the sequel and will return for the third instalment. Miles Chapman wrote the first two films and is writing the third, with director Steven C. Miller back behind the camera.
The second film, which is rumoured to only briefly feature Stallone’s security expert Ray Breslin, has the title of Escape Plan 2: Hades, and co-stars Guardians of the Galaxy’s Dave Bautista and 50 Cent.
Escape Plan 3 will see behind the scenes help from returning co-producers Randall Emmett, George Furla, Mark Canton, and Zack Schiller, in addition to repeat executive producers Ted Fox, Mark Stewart, Barry Brooker, and Stan Wertlieb.
