Orcs Must Die! Unchained PlayStation 4 Release Date Announced
The portal rifts are opening on PlayStation 4 as Orcs Must Die! Unchained begins the invasion this mid-July. Are traps and heroes enough to save us?
Orcs and orges pour through as you and possibly another two players join forces in co-op to hold back the tide using clever traps and direct force. The PlayStation 4 version will boast new content, game modes as well as regular updates.
It's also coming to PS4 at no cost as it's a free-to-play tower defense game with tongue-in-cheek art and humour. Unchained features all-new heroes trying to keep the orc hordes from reaching your Rift, and there are new upgradeable trap defenses with traits and powerful spells.
"Survival mode lets players slay their way to the top of the orc pile in 3-player co-op defense gameplay. Sabotage mode puts two teams of three head-to-head; troll the opposing team with powerful spells designed to weaken their defenses and summon enemies to overrun them — but be on guard as they’ll be doing the same. Weekly Challenges give players the chance to conquer challenging, inventive scenarios. Endless mode will keep the orcs, ogres, and other uglies comin’ until you break."
Orcs Must Die! Unchained releases on PlayStation 4 July 18th, 2017 as a free-to-play title.
