Mark Wahlberg To Star In L.A.P.D. Action-Comedy 'Partners'
Wearing the detective's badge again is Mark Wahlberg who is confirmed to star in New Line's upcoming action-comedy Partners set in the Los Angeles Police Department.
The plot involves Wahlber's character having a one-night stand with a woman only to discover she's actually an FBI agent in charge of a high-profile case he's working on. The last time Wahlberg wore a badge was in 2010's The Other Guys starring opposite Will Ferrell.
Currently Wahlberg is shooting Deepwater Horizon for Lionsgate, and will be starring with Ferrell again in Paramount's movie Daddy's Home. Currently New Line is looking for a director and lead actress for Partners.
