Forged Battalion Announced For 2018
Petrogylph Games and Team17 have announced a new real-time strategy called Forged Battlions, where you customise both faction and army.
The studio Petrogylph was behind Star Wars: Empire at War, Universe at War, Grey Goo and more recently 8-Bit Armies. Now they've turned their eye to having a highly customisable RTS where we decide what the quirks and perks of the faction will be, and how the units look and work.
From the announcement trailer is looks like Petroglyph is trying to recapture some of that 90s Command & Conquer magic with some new twists. We're part of a resistance group in Forged Battalion, fighting against a military force known as The Collective at the end of the 21st Century. It will feature a 'persistent tech tree' that charts the progression of our faction unlocking new techs.
Forged Battalion will be releasing to PC in Early Access in 2018.
