Dreadnought Announced For PlayStation 4
Class-based capital ship warfare in Dreadnought is coming to PlayStation 4 as well as on PC, announces GreyBox, Six Foot and developer YAGER.
The PlayStation 4 version will be offering the same tactical combat and eye-watering explosive battles as the PC release, with warfare set to rage throughout the Solar System with Team Deathmatch and Team Elimination.
“Dreadnought is all about mastering your ship and coordinating with your teammates to reap the glory and rewards of victory,” said Christian Svensson, chief operating officer of Six Foot. “It features stunning spectacles of high-impact combat across the solar system, and we’re incredibly excited for the PlayStation community to experience that fun for themselves soon.”
Additional modes will be unveiled later, teases the studio, with some PlayStation 4-exclusive content planned. Currently the official site is offering the chance to sign up for the PS4 closed beta. Dreadnought is a free-to-play title.
Dreadnought releases on PC and PlayStation 4 in 2017.
