Prey Launch Trailer, Releases Midnight May 4th In US
The official launch trailer for this Bethesda and Arkane Studios' first-person action horror Prey is now out, with the game set to go live midnight May 4th.
That means it will be releasing through Steam on PC 00.00am EDT in the US and 05.00am GMT+1 in the UK, May 5th.
Arkane's Prey is set aboard the research space station Talos I that orbits the moon in the year 2032. We play as the key experiment meant to inform the future of humanity but things have gone horribly wrong. Hostile entities have taken over Talos I and now we're hunted.
"As you dig into the dark secrets of Talos I and your own past, you must survive using the tools found on the station -- your wits, weapons, and mind-bending abilities. The fate of the Talos I and everyone aboard is in your hands."
Prey is armed with an interesting array of abilities that we can unlock during our playthrough as well more conventional weaponry, and some prototypes. It shares some similarities with Arkane's own Dishonored series in that way but also the BioShock series where you unlock and improve crazy powers.
