Rooney Mara And Nicholas Hoult Star In Supernatural Film "The Discovery"
Science has proven the existence of an afterlife in the 'supernatural romance' film The DIscovery, with Mad Max: Fury Road star Nicholas Hoult playing the son of the man who makes the world-changing scientific breakthrough.
The Social Network's Rooney Mara will be playing the love interest of Hoult's character. The plot hasn't been detailed all that much but presumably this 'love interest' will be stretching across into the afterlife? Maybe. It's Hollywood and they do weird things. Charlie McDowell is directing the 'high concept' film project.
Hoult has already played a zombie who falls in love and manages to regain his humanity, even after the whole eating-his-love-interest's-boyfriend's-brain-to-gain-his-memories ploy. He's a real smooth talker that one.
