Square Enix Collective Revealing Exclusive During EGX, Event To Be Live Streamed
The Square Enix Collective will be holding a worldwide reveal for a game project exclusive to the publisher's special initiative. PlayStation Access will stream it all.
Aside from the exclusive announcement scheduled in for EGX - which is held between Thursday, September 22nd and Sunday, September 25th - Square Enix will also have other successful titles with hands-on demos including the recently released Turing Test.
Crowd-funding and Early Access are pretty big deals for smaller projects looking to get a chance at life. Square Enix came up with the 'Square Enix Collective' which showcases ideas from developers and are then put to a vote by Collective members.
Those that survive the greenlighting process will then be given support by Square Enix to drive awareness as they take their project to crowd-funding platforms such as Kickstarter or Indiegogo. A big part of the Collective is feedback from users.
So far 10 projects have successfully been crowd-funded and just recently Massive Damage's Halcyon 6: Starbase Commander achieved a full release on Steam, and puzzler Turing Test also launched to strong reviews.
PlayStation Access will be live streaming the exclusive from the Square Enix Collective as it takes to the PlayStation Access stage at EGX on Thursday, September 22nd.

Borne from a love of old school multiplayer games like Micro Machines, Worms, and Street Fighter, Titutitech wanted to recreate the fun, fast-paced multiplayer experience of those games while adding full 3D environments for more tactics, more depth, and more replayability. Oh, did we mention it's got exploding pies?
