Hellboy Reboot In the Works With Stranger Things David Harbour in Lead Role
Good news: there’s going to be a new Hellboy movie! Bad news: it won’t feature either Guillermo del Toro and Ron Perlman. Instead, it’s Stranger Things David Harbour who’s in talks to play the titular demon.
According to Hellboy creator Mike Mignola, who took to Facebook to share the news, Neil Marshall (The Descent) is on board to direct this rebooted incarnation which is aiming for an R -rating.
Despite the pedigree of all involved, it’s hard to image that this news won’t be taken as missed opportunity for fans of the first two Hellboy movies who are keen to see the now departed del Toro and Perlman back.
Now it appears that Millennium Films is looking to make a deal to produce this new version.
