Jak And Daxter PS2 Classics Announced
Naughty Dog's action series Jak and Daxter is coming back as Sony dusts off the original PlayStation 2 versions for re-release via PlayStation Network.
This means that Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak 2, Jak 3 and Jak X: Combat Racing will be joining the PS2 Classics line-up with beefed up pixels to achieve 1080p. Jak X meanwhile will have it's online multiplayer disabled in favour of split-screen. The game will also feature Trophy support.
"Longtime fans and new players alike can experience the incredible exploits of Jak and Daxter as the duo sets out to explore ancient lands and unravel the mysteries of the Precursors."
All four Jak and Daxter entries will become available digitally through PSN. Let's hope the PlayStation 4 Pro machines can handle the power of all that retro.
Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, Jak 3 and Jak X: Combat Racing releases on PlayStation 4 in 2017 with no pricing revealed yet.
