Total War: WARHAMMER - Old World Edition Announced

Creative Assembly have just announced the physical-only Total War: WARHAMMER -  Old World Edition, which includes a novella and a new race.

The Prince of Altdorf, written by Total War writer Andy Hall, will be included as part of the package when on sale next year in February. It will also introduce a new playable race to the roster, "the chivalrous Bretonnia."

"A contrast of lowly peasant masses and proud knightly orders, the feudal kingdom of Bretonnia features a host of powerful units and is lead into battle by a choice of three playable Legendary Lords; King Louen Leoncoeur, Alberic of Bordeleaux and the Fay Enchantress."

Should you already own Total War: WARHAMMER then you needn't march your warband against the offices of SEGA and Creative Assembly because you'll be getting the new Bretonnia faction playable for free. They'll give up more gossip and details on the Bretonnia people next year. This is NOT a Game of the Year edition or anything and doesn't include all DLC to-date, just the original game and the Bretonnia Race Pack. Check out the official Total War Wikia to learn more.

Total War: WARHAMMER - Old World Edition releases on PC in February 2017.
