SCUM Announced
Multiplayer open world survival game SCUM is coming to PC and Early Access this year from developers Gamepires and Croteam, announces Devolver Digital.
Entertainment giant TEC1 is starting up season two of their critically acclaimed and blood-drenched reality show - SCUM. Prisoners battle for survival for the masses to earn fans, fame and fortune. There might also be the possibility of actually getting out alive.
"SCUM evolves the multiplayer open world survival game with unprecedented levels of character customization, control, and progression where knowledge and skills are the ultimate weapons for long-term survival. Players will balance base level needs with knowledge-based skills to manage everything from nourishment, metabolic rate, and body mass to weapons proficiency, combat style, and security systems hacking," reads the description on the Steam store page.
Corporate sponsors are there to funnel prisoners powerful gifts with death a mere inconvenience the show's producers will help get around as you return with valuable skills intact. SCUM is built using Unreal Engine 4.
SCUM releases on PC in 2017, with an Early Access launch coming first.
