First Look: Arrow's Stephen Amell as TMNT 2's Casey Jones
How about your first look at Stephen Amell as street fighter/amateur sports enthusiast Casey Jones from the set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2?
Well, he certainly looks the part: Mask? Check. Hockey stick for many high-sticking battles alongside his mutant pals? Check. Any confirmation other than the picture appearing without comment on producer Michael Bay’s website? Not so much…
But still, if this is Casey, then he’ll be joining a host of other fan favourites including a recently recast Shredder – who’s now played by Brian Tee; making him the third actor to play the character after William Fichtner was replace with Tohoru Masamune amid accusations of ‘white-washing’ what is traditionally a Japanese role – Baxter Stockman, played by Tyler Perry and, if rumours are to be believed, Bebop and Rocksteady (please, as long as it is not Tokka and Rahzar again).
Teenager Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is to hit screens June 3rd 2016.
