Shenmue III Publisher Is Deep Silver, Confirms Q3/Q4 2018 Release
The long anticipated wait for another entry in the Shenmue series from creator Yu Suzuki steps closer to reality as Deep Silver will be publishing it for PC and PS4.
The action adventure RPG and life sim Shenmue III remains on target for launch in the second half of 2018. A Kickstarter campaign was announced back in June 2015 at Sony's E3 conference, and went on to secure $6.3 million from over 69k backers.

Throughout this process, Deep Silver has expressed a deep passion for Japanese games, the Shenmue franchise and its fans—this gives me further confidence in Shenmue III and that we have found the best partner possible," said Yu Suzuki, the director of Shenmue III and CEO of Ys Net.
Yu Suzuki is attending Gamescom 2017 this month in a 'Meet & Greet' in the public area Hall 9.1 Stand B011/C010, Wednesday evening 18:30-19:30, and Thursday noon 12:30-13:30. Gamescom 2017 is held in Cologne, Germany and runs August 23-26 for everyone.
Shenmue III releases on PC and PlayStation in Q3/Q4 2018.
