Destiny 2 Release Date Rumoured September 8th
A promotional poster for Bungie's Destiny 2 points the finger of launch squarely at September 8th, 2017. It also mentions a Beta will be run, surprising nobody.
The poster comes from Italy and also bares the Exclusive Content for PlayStation logo atop it, which means Activision and Sony are remaining close chums with the MMO follow-up. The Beta for Destiny 2 is believed to be scheduled for June with it first coming to PlayStation 4.
Destiny 2 may also see a launch for PC gamers as the original only touched on Xbox and PlayStation consoles. Bungie have said that players' characters and progression will carry over to the sequel. Veterans of Destiny should also be in for a treat as their accomplishments will be acknowledged.
Destiny 2 releases on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later in 2017, and possibly on PC.
