HTC 11 Possibly Teased With Mid-March Launch
Smartphone contender HTC has possibly revealed their intentions of rolling out the HTC 11 this month, or at the very least are set to officially announce it.
A curious photo with the words "spring is coming" has been posted by the Taiwanese company via its Facebook page with the date March 20th attached. Already the HTC U Ultra and HTC U Play have been announced for 2017.
Chia-Lin Chang, HTC's president of smartphones and connected devices, has said they would be making a big show of their next flagship launch once the new mobile CPU architectures became available.
There's a chance this March 20th 'surprise' could be related to their HTC Vive virtual reality business where they plan a smartphone friendly version that doesn't require a PC. HTC want a different approach than turning the phone into a makeshift headset for VR.
