Second Star Trek Beyond Trailer Released, Aliens Void Enterprise Warranty
Paramount Pictures has released a fresh trailer for Star Trek Beyond and there's a lot more action and bits of a certain Federation ship flying about, mostly in pieces.
The Justin Lin (Fast & Furious) directed sequel brings back the cast of J.J. Abrams' 2009 and 2013 Star Trek movies, whilst adding Idris Elba and Sofia Boutella as new alien characters the crew will be coming across. Beyond has us visit the USS Enterprise halfway through a 5-year mission.
The trouble starts in the fringes of Federation space when an overwhelming attack decimates the Enterprise and forces her crew to eject and land on a rather hostile world. A new ruthless enemy cannot stand what the Federation represents and wishes it destroyed.
Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, John Cho and Anton Yelchin return as the well-known Enterprise crew. J.J. Abrams is a producer of Star Trek Beyond but not the director, as he is busy with the next Star Wars films in production.
Star Trek Beyond will be in cinema this July 22nd in the US and Europe.
