Two best friends discover they have magical powers. Nory has the ability to flux into animals, while Reina is able to manipulate flames. They enroll in Sage Academy to learn about their powers together. The problem is, Nory gets placed into the Upside-Down Magic program because her powers are somewhat unpredictable. The headmistress is not impressed that she keeps turning into a half-kitten, half-dragon creation. Although the headmistress is convinced that unconventional magic is not as powerful, Nory is determined to prove her wrong.
