In the hopes of spending some quality time together, a young couple books a romantic getaway at a beach house. Pleasantly surprised by how isolated they are, the two are looking forward to being alone. However, the arrival of unsolicited guests throws them for a loop. Even more unsettling is the mysterious fog that's looming over them. Adding even more fuel to the fire is an unknown illness that begins to permeate the community.
