This animated film portrays the early life of Clark Kent before he becomes Superman. It details his struggle to figure out what it means to be human while struggling with being an alien on planet earth. The film deals with Superman's questioning of whether or not humanity is even worth saving. This is set within the bigger backdrop of DC Universe's Animated Original Movies and is the 39th installment in these animated movies. The movie features Lobo and Parasite as the major villains, and the main antagonists for Superman to deal with.
