Follow up to the much-loved TC, with most finding their way overseas during the austere years of the post-war era. The new rack-and-pinion steering and Y-Type’s chassis sharpened up the Midget’s game considerably, and the more rigid chassis improved durability. These cars were offered with left-hand drive, which obviously helped with the export drive. Engine-wise, it was the same story as before, with the 1250cc XPAG engine in 54bhp form putting in a fine performance, although an upgrade in 1950 to 57bhp for the MkII livened things up.
