Based on Gerard de Villiers’s best-selling action-spy series “S.A.S.,” which have sold more than 120 million copies worldwide, the film will have the “Shame” actor playing super spy for hire Malko Linge. Linge is an Austrian nobleman and freelance CIA operative who spent his formative years in a special Nazi work camp for captured spies. He learned the intricate dark arts of tradecraft from the best. Now, he’s an adult spy for hire – an agent without an agency. He boasts a wicked wit and a lust for all things in life, even the things that might kill him. The film will largely be based upon de Villiers’ book “Checkpoint Charlie”
