Directed by Craig William Macneill (The Boy), Lizzie dramatizes the events leading up to the notorious murders of the Borden family. Stewart is seen as Bridget Sullivan, a young maid who comes to work for the family. She finds “a sympathetic and kindred spirit” in Lizzie, but their innocent companionship eventually escalates into attraction, love, and bloody vengeance.
