The Snipe of 1945 was the more upmarket version of the almost identical Hawk, fitted with a 2731cc six-cylinder engine. The further step up from this was the Super Snipe, which actually did have a few super things about it. For starters there was the huge and lazy 4086cc six-cylinder engine and some plusher touches to its make-up. The ultimate offshoot was the Pullman, intended to satisfy the wedding, funerals and mayoral market. Mechanically, it was the same as the Super Snipe but with a longer wheelbase.
