Sharing its four-cam V12, though in a slightly lower state of tune and with six side, rather than downdraft, Webers, the GTC/4 was sold alongside the Daytona – notching up 500 sales in 18 short months. It sports a similar profile to the Daytona too, though there’s just about room to squeeze two kids into the back of the GTC/4. It compares favourably to the Daytona in two ways: with its power steering, softer suspension and hydraulic clutch the GTC/4 is nice to drive. It also happens to cost about a third of what you need for a Daytona.
