Season two has been confirmed as a prequel, and will follow a young Lou Solverson (Patrick Wilson) in 1979. Taking place in Sioux Falls, as well as Luverne, Minnesota and Fargo, the show will include Solverson's 4-year-old daughter Molly and her mother.
