The Oculus Rift Touch Controllers Will See An Additional Delay

It looks like Oculus isn't quite finished with their Touch controllers because the technology has been delayed until the second half of 2016, much after the initial launch of the Oculus Rift.

This extra time will be used to make the final product "more comfortable, reliable, and natural" to use. The Oculus Rift itself will see release in the first quarter of this new year and pre-orders for the device will be opening 'very soon' according to the company.

Oculus has been making significant advances in ergonomics, according to the delay blog post, and they're "outputting larger numbers of pre-production runs, which means [they] can get a lot more Touch hardware in the hands of developers who need it."
