Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren to Star in Black Water
80’s action stars turned Expendables Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren have signed on to appear in Dawn’s Light Media’s action/thriller Black Water.
The pair, who also worked together on 1992’s military sci-fi action thriller Universal Solider and its sequel, will be working from a script by prolific B-movie writer Chad Law, which sees Van Damme play an operative who finds himself imprisoned by the CIA on a submarine (hence the title Black Water). There’s no word yet on Lundgren’s character but since he’s supposed to be a friend of Van Damme’s, we can only assume he’s not one of the guys who locked Van Damme up on a sub.
There’s no director in place just yet but filming is rumoured to be taking place near Mobile, Alabama. The website The Action Elite shared a poster image of Black Water.
