New Mod For The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Swaps All Combat With Gwent
2015's Game of the Year just got better, all thanks to a mod by DickDangerJustice which replaces all combat in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt with the in-game fantasy card game Gwent.
The entire campaign should be playable, according to the creator, as the mod has basic scaling and recognition for enemies. Whenever you or an enemy take damage, an enemy deck is randomised, and the game commences. Losing means you will die, winning will kill all enemies within 30 units.
In the future, DickDangerJustice intends on developing a 'tiered loot table for cards', a modified economy for cards, booster packs in shops, and a system which will generate new cards or decks for a smoother scaling experience.
