A cold front is coming in two weeks for Cities: Skylines as the latest Snowfall expansion will be releasing, and with it comes a new region specifically tailored to the new snow-driven gameplay and specialised services. It also comes with free new stuff.

While it's disappointing that snow will have to be 'locked in' to a specific map, there are spillovers into all regional cities such as the new trams for public transport, as well as rain and fog rolling in. Snow can have profound consequences on our infrastructure in the new cities so don't forget those snowploughs. Homes must also be kept warm with the new temperature system.

"In Snowfall, a new in-game temperature system will keep mayor-players on their toes. When the snow starts to fall, the roads will need to be kept clear, and buildings will need to be heated. Residents will also have the chance to visit new winter parks and landmarks available in Snowfall, along with an all-new tram system to get them across town in all sorts of weather."

Cities: Skylines - Snowfall releases on PC February 18th, 2016 priced at $12.99.
