Blade 4: Wesley Snipes Confirms Talks With Marvel
For a vampire movie, Blade Trinity sucked but that hasn't stopped Wesley Snipes staking a claim for a fourth Blade movie.
The Expendables 3 actor told Deadline during promotions for his role in the upcoming TV series The Player, he has already held talks with Marvel over a possible return of the vampire hunter.
"The project is controlled by Marvel and we did have a really productive and a wonderful meeting and we discussed a number of things. I don’t know where it’s on their schedule at this point, that hasn’t been decided. I guess it’s still up in the air", he said.
And whilst he was open to the idea of joining the Marvel universe in one form or another, he added that "if we don't do a Blade 4 or something else with Marvel, we'll do something else. We have other characters and some other concepts that are going to just as exciting and hopefully just as successful."
Will there be a Blade 4? It seems unlikely at this stage but you can't keep a good Vampire slayer down and it would be cool to see Blade embraced by the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
