Developer Studio Wildcard have announced the official Early Access launch date for their upcoming open-world dinosaur survival game; you’ll be able to pick up the game just three weeks after its announcement on June 2.

Alongside this news, five new dangerous prehistoric creatures were revealed today including the terrifying Titanboa, which will be immune to knock-out poison, and the domesticated Pteranodon.

For those who forked over money to the disappearing act known as 'The Stomping Land', ARK developers will be handing out an exclusive pair of radical ‘Stomped Land Bling Shades’ (as seen above) for a T-Rex to wear whilst you ride around on its back, despite having no connection to the project.

Check out the bestiary images below for more information on the newly announced animals.

The complete edition of ARK: Survival Evolved will be launching in 2016 on Playstation 4, Xbox One and Steam with Oculus Rift and Project Morpheus support.

You’ll have to build shelters, stay warm and protect yourself against the mysterious wildlife which, if tamed, can be ridden through the ever-expanding jungles of ARK, a bizarre island where the prehistoric roam free.
