The new generation of systems has opened up a new realm of possibilities for developers, as it always does. A new interview with Dinga Bakaba, lead designer on Dishonored 2, was published on Gamespot revealing the new freedom offered to developers.

Bakaba stated, "That, in the last generation, was difficult because of the memory constraints. You needed to have many languages on disc and there wasn't that much space to have lines like that. It was very painful, but this time with our new engine was specifically designed for this type of game, so we have much more freedom to add lots of lines and animations."

"We can make those guys alive. It's not just having a new AI feature, it's adding a level of polish."
