8-on-8 Multiplayer Comes to Halo 5: Guardians in Latest Patch
The latest core instalment in the Halo franchise received a 6.2 GB patch today entitled 'Battle of Shadow and Light' which has, amongst other additions, brought back Big Team Battle modes.
You should now have 8-v-8 support for Capture the Flag, Strongholds, and Slayer game modes on the Basin, Deadlock, Guillotine, and Recurve maps. The patch will also roll out a collection of new items over the next few hours, a breakdown of which you can see below.
Halo 5: Guardians has garnered positive reviews for both its single and multiplayer aspects with Gamespot calling it "the best shape Halo's multiplayer has ever taken."
