For Honor is Built to Have 'Long-Term Appeal'

Ubisoft have published a blog post detailing the changes coming to their Montreal-developed warfare title For Honor after receiving player feedback.

A closed alpha was delivered to a handful people containing a "small work-in-progress slice" of the final game and, according to Community Developer Emile Gautheir, the players brought three key points to the table: accessibility, balance, and faction diversity.

In order to have long-term appeal, the game requires a "true easy-to-learn/hard-to-master experience that will please new and seasoned players alike", says Gautheir. Players found that battle against several opponents at the same time to be challenging but the NPC-laden mode Dominion was found to be a "good testing ground for how [the] multiplayer components work together on a larger scale."

For Honor does not yet have a confirmed release date.
