If you haven't heard, Jason Voorhees is set to return this October, starring in his own horror game. Based on the latest motion capture shoot & behind-the-scenes footage released by the developers, we can expect the same level of brutality in the game that we'd expect from a movie.

Friday The 13th: The Game will let players either control Jason himself or a camp counselor at Camp Crystal Lake in a game of cat-and-mouse, or... run and hide, depending on how you look at things.

Kane Hodder, who played Jason in Parts VII, VIII, IX, & X has been hard at work pretending to kill stuntmen at the motion capture studio for the game's death scenes. The kills you'll see in the video below were designed by Tom Savini and don't worry, one of those kills includes the highly requested "Sleeping Bag Kill" from Part VII, which was met with a lot of love during the game's Kickstarter campaign.

Tarah Paige is the stuntwoman portraying the female camp counselors, while Ryan Staats portrays the male counselors in the game. Tarah's past credits include portraying Lara Croft in the last two Tomb Raider titles. It should be noted that whatever appears to be gameplay footage is still work in progress. Don't forget to take a moment and START TRACKING the game's release to stay informed on when it will arrive!

Enjoy.
