Sword in the Stone Live-Action Film in the Works
Disney has announced that Sword in the Stone will be the newest entry added to their growing catalog of live-action reinventions of classic animation films.
Bryan Cogman, a member of the Game of Thrones writing team, will write the script and Brigham Taylor will serve as a producer.
The original The Sword in the Stone was released in 1963, and is based on the the novel of the same name, first published in 1938 as a single novel. It was published again in 1958 as the first book of T.H. White's tetralogy The Once and Future King.
Sword in the Stone currently has no official release date.
