First Trailer: The Hunger Games - Mockingjay Part 2
The rebels are amassing; it’s time for one last push on Capitol – it’s time to take down President Snow in this, the first trailer The Hunger Games - Mockingjay Part 2 and the beginning of the end for the saga. And, to put it bluntly, all hell is about to be unleashed.
With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) confronts President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin), and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.
The final part of the saga has only just wrapped, with director Francis Lawrence tweeting that the cast and crew had got back together to film the epilogue – delayed so that the Atlanta landscape could become suitably green for the mini-shoot.
With Elizabeth Banks, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson, Willow Shields, Stanley Tucci, Jena Malone and more in the cast, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 lands in our cinemas on November 20.
