A live stream is on the calendar for September 13th where Blizzard Entertainment will delight viewers with a "world premiere" of StarCraft II's next expansion, Legacy of the Void. We'll get both a cinematic and a launch date.

Senior developers will also preview content coming from the third chapter of StarCraft II, which has taken its sweet time getting here. The stream will air on the official StarCraft II Twitch channel and is hosted by William 'Chobra' Cho. Legacy of the Void will tell events from the Protoss' point-of-view, as well as continue the Terran and Zerg stories in the background.

The creature Amon will play a central antagonist role and the story has been likened to the film 300 by game designer Chris Metzen.

StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void releases on PC and we'll soon have the official date.
