"Advent" is the arrival of a notable person, thing, or event... and it could quite possibly be the name of an upcoming game from 2K.

The publisher has taken to Twitter to tease an upcoming project that looks to be set in a dystopian future and revolves around an organization that is "supposedly" striving to create a world free from hunger, pain, sickness, and war... However, things aren't always what they seem... On the official teaser site Adventure.org, although the ADVENT Administration seems to insist they mean well, at the same time, "millions have gone missing the ADVENT way."

Details on what the game will be about are slim, but we do have more information about this administration that'll likely revolve around us as we play:

"THE CITIES OF TOMORROW ARE HERE

Advanced ADVENT technologies have made the City Centers—once the stuff of dreams a reality.
Amazing advancements in architectural construction have led to a new kind of city. The gleaming towers are specifically designed to utilize space in efficient ways never before seen, as well as provide the comforts and amenities of a resort. Each living unit is outlined with the very best in high-tech comfort and utilitarian style.
Protected 24 hours a day by ADVENT forces, citizens can have a peace of mind with the knowledge that their families are always safe.
ADVENT Cities are a fresh start. Join us and help us build a brighter future today."

By the looks of things on the teaser site, it feels like the game will have a Watch Dogs vibe with hacking elements mixed in. If it's open-world and tasks us with taking down this deceitful organization, we're in, but whatever it is, we just hope we get more information soon; this definitely looks like a game worth keeping an eye on.
