It'll be time to fight back in Homefront: The Revolution next spring as Deep Silver narrows down the release date to the CryEngine-powered open-world sequel.

A new cinematic trailer has been released from Deep Silver and developer Dambuster Studios. It's an all-out guerrilla war with the oppressive Korean authorities having invaded and subjugated the United States. We now also have the gameplay trailer from Gamescom.

The Revolution takes place in Philadelphia, once the birthplace of Independence, and now the people are stirring again. Our improvised arsenal will be taking on a vastly superior military force, but that's what hit and run ambushes are for. If the Ewoks can do it...

Homefront: The Revolution releases on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in Spring 2016.
