Mad Max: Fury Road Director George Miller "Doing Man Of Steel 2"
Superman Lives documentary director Jon Schnepp has declared that Mad Max: Fury Road's George Miller will be taking the director's chair for Man of Steel 2, having lost out on Justice League Mortal.
The first film was directed by Zack Snyder who's quite busy with part one and two of The Justice League releasing in 2017 and 2019 respectively.
"George Miller, he's doing Man of Steel 2," Schnepp confidently told Popcorn Talk. "I don’t feel weird about breaking it. Obviously Zack Snyder is doing Justice League one and two, we've already got James Wan is doing Aquaman... I think George Miller’s a perfect choice to do Man of Steel 2. He’s going to bring so much to it."
The events in Man of Steel lead directly into the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie, releasing in May 2016.
